Mini 30, Scope Nikon P-223.

Clicked on your link and bought one. I'm upgrading my mini from bone stock(finally),bought it in '09. Oh,and of course I had to get an Amega rail to put it on. It's at the gunsmith getting a trigger job right now. Been loading match ammo to see if the trigger job helps. I know,I'm being overly optimistic,but I'm hoping for 1.5-2" at 100 yds. I will leave the scope on 'till the mods are done.

Anyway,thanks for the heads up on the red dot!

My mini

This is a 581 series purchased new in 2008. I swapped the plastic stock for wooden one and mounted a GG&G side-scope mount GGG-1519 which works very well and holds center. Vortex viper scope, and modified Thermold 30-rd magazine. I used iamarangemaster instruction for the mag mod, and it worked great.

My stainless tactical 16 inch... Ultimak perfectly matches the factory synthetic stock. Just looks like it belongs there.

I have changed my mini14 setup so many times. I swear it's just never ending. Went from a standard ranch style with red dot to a large scope, bipod, to a tactical with irons. I love the M1A Socom look and honestly I think I prefer the irons over a scope. My daughter loves to shoot it so maybe eventually I might give it to her.
