I am a new Mini-14 owner and have foung this board a terrific resource in learning about my rifle. I have a question about PMI mags. I recently purchased a 30rd. mag that was advertised as an original PMI product. However, it does not have any manufacturer stamp anywhere on the mag body or footplate. I compared it carefully to the set of photos posted on this board.
It looks identical to the photos of the PMI mags shown (minus the name stamp) and does not resemble any of the others. Does anyone have any knowledge as to wether a genuine PMI mag would have the company logo stamped on it?

PMI made mags marked PMI, Federal Ordnance and unmarked. I have two twenties and a thirty that I believe are unmarked PMI.

Non of my PMI's are marked.

The only markings mine had was on the plastic wrapers.
