22 years ago my uncle gave me an open invitation to come up to Alaska and go moose hunting with him. He was a regular (every season), now he's semi-regular. Keeps saying he'll give it up, but still goes out during the season.
My aunt and uncle raised two girls in a log cabin along the Hwy between Alaska and Fairbanks, near Healy. The kids have moved on to "the big city", i.e. Boise Idaho (grin), while they still hold down the fort and dream of retirement and warmer climes (grin).
