If I'm not reloading, I'm shooting or hunting or working on guns or reading about guns or talking on here about guns! Only one hobby with a few different directions that all lead back to one central place and that's GUNS!! Don't have time or money for any more hobbies!! GHD

I'm an addicted tinkerer. I tinker on my Dodge 4x4 in the Summer and my Camaro in the winter (since I drive them on the opposite schedule). I tinker with wood work, using only non-power hand tools. My dad is a hell of a lot better than I am, but I do have a servicable shoe rack and two book cases that I made myself.

When its to cold or dark outside, I read extensively and play with my computer.

Oh, and I swim 3 days a week. Its good exercise, and a great way to clear your mind. Last Thursday I cleared it a little too much and managed to swim into the wall. No kidding, I was off in la-la land and was doing the backstroke and didn't notice that I was getting near the end of the pool and bumped my head against the wall. Luckily for me, I don't swim fast enough to hurt myself and no one else noticed so my ego was safe. :)

I was going to say rock climbing, but that's more of an activity than a hobby, and I haven't done much of that in the last couple of years. On top of guns, I'd say it would have to be computer games and models. I like WWII German tanks and equipments, usually 1/32 scale models. I bought an airsprayer last year but have yet to use it. Now that I'm in my new house this summer I should get a chance to finish putting together the JadgPanther I started a while back.

I fish, hunt, backpack and camp. I fish offshore, mostly with a speargun, so it is almost hunting. I backpack primarily in spring and summer although I have combined some camping and hunting or fishing trips.

I have tried trapping, but it was to get rid of some problems we were haveing with beavers. A local trapper helped me with some sets and we got four. Then later I was able to get rid of several more on my own. Recently Louisianna implemented a bounty on neutra rats and I have trapped some from our hunting club and sent the tails to a friend in LA. He turns them in and we split the bounty.

AlleninAlaska, You have captured my interest with the statement about the hunter in VA. Could you expand?

Hey Wimpala, good to see you joining us!

Didn't know you were an angler too, send me your addy and I'll get you a comp issue of the magazine.

Had a chance to fire off the big 8 mm yet?

Punchie, I've said it before, I spend so much on buying guns I can't afford bullets! That's why I collect the ol' rusty 22's, they're neat to touch and look at even if I don't shoot 'em.

Yes OUTHOUSE TEJAS, Iv'e fired 5 rounds of the 8mm Magnum. A lot of fun, but nothing like the 460 ( the most I'm willing to fire of that in a row is 2) At present I own a 264 Win mag , a 300 win , the 8mm mag , and the 460. On my salary I can't afford to shoot them often but one day the 460 and the 8 and I are going to Africa (When I win the lottery:rolleyes:rolleyes: )

Hobbies? Oh, reloading, casting, reading, camping, small gaming, big gaming, fish once in a while. Playing Chess. Lately I started delving into the world of swaging bullets. Got a Corbin CSP-1 press and one set of dies in .451. Its pretty satisfying to design your own bullets, fun too.:2guns:
