is a muzzle brake considered an evil by the liberals? i have a mini-14 with a pistolgrip stock and of course i have hi-cap mags but i just bought a muzzlebrake the other day. i know a flash hider is definatley considered an evil but i've heard different things about a muzzlebrake.

goodrich---As of right now muzzle brakes are ok but with things the way they are only time will tell.

I believe "muzzle brakes" are legal,hence ANYTHING on the end of the barrel of any of my guns is refered to as such! That's my story and I'm sticking to it!!

i bought it new in mid '99 so it's fairly new.

Amen Quadfan, amen. If we bend over to these liberalistic laws, we will all lose. I mean, following laws is good, but we they deny you your RIGHT to own guns, not a PRIVILEGE, a RIGHT mind you, you have the right to call their bs. Anyway, this stuff has to be stopped, even if a revolution (kind of dramatic, but hey) is necessary.

Some muzzle brakes are evil! If you get a high dollar one, and have a gunsmith thread your barrel, you have one sin already. The threaded barrel is evil. So get a cheap $19.95 pin over sight, muzzle brake, and it will be OK.
