I was just wondering if anyone has had experience with the Ruger Deerfield Carbine in 44 Mag (the 99/44)? Positive or negative? Accuracy good or bad?

Look in the latest issue of SWAT Magazine. One of their writers did a test of this carbine as to be used as a patrol rifle for Police Officers. The writer was pleased with the rifle and gave it a good review. He gave it high marks for being a fast carbine, that was rugged, and had acceptable accuracy.
