This started out as a stripped Noveske "chainsaw" N4 lower. I used to build on SA&A lowers, kept trading them off, thought I'd actually keep the Noveske!
I started with a 20" heavy barrel for varmits, then packed it around the high desert for a week. Found a "Sportical" upper with a mid-length free float hand guard. I added a Levang comp to keep the noise off the firing line at the range. The Scope is a Mueller. Ace light weight stock, I've got a bi-pod for it, but for field work it I don't carry it. I like light.

That's a sharp looking build, garandfather. ;)

Hey, I've been looking at the Levang compensator for some time. What's the best way to mount that thing (re: no flats for a wrench)?

Thanks!

I put the comp in a padded vice and turned the barrel till I couldn't turn it any longer (compressed the crush washer). You could also use a "strap" wrench.
