I have NO connection to this rifle. But the price is very right.

I agree.I'm gonna say this... $630.. aint bad, even $750.00 for a new one is a good price in my opinion.
Think about it, Ruger packs more crap for the Mini 14 than most manufactures do for their rifles. But lets do the math:
Got a Ruger Mini 14 from Buds gun shop for $741.00:
https://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog...719019687/RUGER+MINI-14+TACT+5.56+16.2+20R+WD
Now that comes with two 20 round ruger mags at $34.00 each:

also includes Ruger scope rings at $35.00 each:

They throw in a rail along with it that cost around $20.00, and a cheap $10.00 sling. All of that added up, and you get $168.00. Now subtract that from $741.00 and you got a $573.00 rifle. Ole boy only wants $630 for the whole set up, so you are actually getting a $472.00 Mini 14. Ruger doesn't even pack mags for their AR15 and most manufactures sell their AR's without iron sights. When I got my Mini 14 back in 1997 it was $400.00, but I only got one 5 round magazine. The prices are not that bad for what you get.
Just speaking for myself, I was NOT implying that it wasn't. Controversially though, I WAS implying that I believe Buds Gun Shop to be a reputable dealer. The CMP web site is a pretty honest and straight up site. Not that there can't be thieves but the odds are small. I already have too many rifles with 3 of them Mini 14's. If I were just getting started I'd be tempted. Heck, I'm still tempted. I have 5 AR's that haven't had a bullet put through them for 2 years but I have over 700 in my Mini.
