In the midst of heavy demand for our existing line of products, we've managed to squeeze in production of our new sightless Mo-Reaper. This muzzle brake is available only for the traditional and tapered barrel Mini-14's. It is a high-quality muzzle brake...

Does it use the factory sight and roll pin slot? I have a 186-series with a cheap slip-on muzzle break and have wanted a Mo-Reaper but didn't want to have to get it installed since I don't trust myself to remove and install front sights.

I've been a customer since I found your Mo-rods selling on Ebay when I first bout my baby, absolutely love the Mo-Rod and my Mini's performance with it. I personally think your clamp design dissipates heat best, but that's just one man's humble opinion. Also a big fan of your customer service and dedication to listening to what customers want.

Yes, this version of our Mo-Reaper does use the factory roll pin slot, and we also use two set screws on the underside to secure the unit. We came out with it because of customer demand for our muzzle brake. Many Mini owners choose not to use iron sights at all, and wanted a version of our muzzle brake without our hooded sight included.

Do you have a brake for the newer tapered barrels where it slides along side but retains the factory sight?

No, none of our products retain the factory front sight, and they all utilize the factory roll pin slot in the barrel.
