just took apart my win model 94 the hammer spring accidentally popped off and I can't get it back on. I'm scared i'll poke out an eye. Anybody got any tips on compressing springs.

Do you have anyway to put a small round object inside the spring? I am not familiar with the 94 .a nail or something like that. how long is the spring and how big Nedd more info **** Dawg

Got it fixed. i used a nail to put through the hole in the piece that goes inside the spring then i just rotated the spring and sort of screwed it down behind the nail, then installed it and pulled the nail out. You didn't know exactly what you were talking about but the nail idea worked out thanks a lot **** dawg.
