Nothing to do today so asked my wife if she wanted to make some noise . She asked me how and I said let's shoot the mini. Every time I ask her to shoot she won't do it unless the mini is the gun. She was shooting beer cans "yes I was suppling them " and every time one flew into the air which was more times than I care to admit,in my words she was tickled sh******. Anybody got agal like that?:D

Yup. Got a Montana Born, raised gal, with a Rem 742. Now she has taken over my mini--I wouldn't care but she gets her own deer and elk and cleans them. Once home processes the meat too. She says I'm around just to do the work!!!

I pretty much knew I found the right girl when she already owned an 870 before I met her, thank God for big brothers. She goes bird hunting and has no problem with me killing (or trying to!) any of Gods other critters. She hasn't shot the mini yet, but I did talk her into shooting the AR awhile ago. She really enjoyed it.

Never heard of one around here that liked guns and shooting. They would rather go shopping for shoes. I have seen them angerly waiting in the car while her husband hurridly fires off the few rounds she allows him to have at the range. Women tend to be pretty cold around here just like the weather.

My wife absolutely loved my mini the first summer I had it. I had her popping milk jugs at various distances out to 200 yds, first with iron sights, then with a BSA red dot. Cheap reload 55gr ammo and 40 rd mags ( I had two that worked like a dream ). One at 150 or so was a little low in the grass and she kept missing it, so she decided to do a little cyclic rate testing. She had been keeping a pretty steady cadence until she lost her patience and BANGBANGBANGBANGBANG... at least ten rounds as fast as she could pull the trigger...and me standing to the side (hunting brass) with the great big eyeballs on. She was just grinning, she managed to hit it at last. Then I rebarrelled the thing. She doesn't love it like she used to, now that it weighs 13.5 lbs. Guess I'll just have to get her one too.

I allways tell them that if I could play my own flute,so to speak, I would'nt need them around! Unless of course I run across one that likes to hunt and shoot. .....AND give flute concerts!!
