I am sorry to bother you all with this but I just saw this post I made last febuary. The dog you see in the above picture name is Zeke. Zeke was fatally struck by a car last friday night. Zeke was the worlds best dog. I posted this pic after i got him back from my ex, I had not seen him for two years. Zeke was 6 years old at the time of his death. Zeke made everyone around him happy, and even people who did nnot like digs loved him. Zeke had always been a city dog, after getting him back he lived in the country with my father. He loved being there. He had fourty acres to play on. I would go there on my days off and take him for walks in the woods and my father took him for rides in the back of his truck, which he loved. He made the transition to country dog remarkably. Our house sits about one quarter mile off a 2 lane country highway. Zeke knew not to go down there and never did. Till last friday evening. I have no idea what he was doing, but I know it was quick and this very special dog did not suffer. When Zeke thought you were less than happy with him he would curl the corners of his mouth up, it looked like a smile. When I picture him in my mind I would imagine he is making that face because of how sad and lonely I will be without him. Zeke, you was and still are the worlds greatest dog and friend. You will always be in the hearts of all that knew you. We love you and will miss you.
