I would like to know if anyone can tell me where on the net I can get an online owners manual for a mini 14. I am new to this weapon and I purchased it used without a manual. Ruger's site does not contain the info i need and i'm not going to call long distance to get what i need. I need to know how to site it in, break it down, clean it, and where lube is to be applied. Pics. would be nice.

hansjer ruger used to send manuels free of charge if you did not have one(bought a used firearm) or lost it. They used to be pretty good on shipping. I have nothing to scan with but another member might. Maybe Bill or another member knows of another site or can post what you need. Their simple to strip but it would be hard to explain it on a post. Pictures are worth a 1000 words. GOOD lUCK

The consensus is:

Get the real thing from Ruger. They're happy to mail you one. Manuals are copyrighted material, so unless the manufacturer is willing, you won't find a legal (or good quality, usually!) copy on the Internet.

Thank-you all. I just got the info that i need on it from a gun dealer.
Flak 2, you're right about the fact that they are easy to strip and about the fact that you need pictures to explain it. A picture is worth a thousand words.
