I was doing some plinking the other day and after about 20 rounds I noticed something missing. The stock reinforcement screw and lock washer were missing on one side. Unfortunately I was in tall grass so there was no hope of finding it without a metal-detector. I looked up the part number and price on Ruger's site: 50 cents apiece.

I guess I will have to lock-tite those before I go out again.

You might also want to order a few magazine followers #MS0300,$1.25 ea. to repair your ruger mag and fix up a few more aftermarket hi-caps.

I've lost'em before also. I found some counter sunk metric allen heads at a local hardware store. Loctited them and no more problems.

I lost mine out on the range as well. Call Ruger first, and ask for them. They sent me 2 sets of replacement screws and washers free. The customer service is usually pretty good.
