Did anyone watch last week's episode of the FX series Justified? A bad guy sniper was wielding a pre 58x-series Mini-14. It had an OD green Hogue stock (I think) and a scope mounted. Will have to watch it again for more details.

Thought it was pretty cool.

Yeah- it was a tactical version, but had the regular stock. At first I thought it was the Mini-30 tac, but it had no flash hider. The funny part was they were using it as a SNIPER rifle... they were at least a half-mile away from the target. Not saying it couldn't be done, but not the right tool for the job...

That's the one! I'm pretty sure that it had the blade front sight and the thin barrel, but I'll have to watch again to verify.
