Well, it seems that mini-14 magazine prices have spiraled out of control just like AR-15 magazines.

Is it just me, or are Mini-14 magazine prices more expensive then AR-15 prices?

AR-15 magazines seem to be floating around $50, maybe $75 a magazine on auction sites, and Mini-14 magazines are over $100?

Mini factory mag production seems to have usually lagged demand. Also for most of the mini production life, the aftermarket mini mags produced were junk, with one or two notable exceptions ( PMI, Fed Ord). CDNN now sells decent aftermarket mags. So with approx 1.5 million mini 14's and 30's out there with mouths to feed, more mags are needed. (supply and demand).

I have seen some prices 2x the pre ban talk of Dec. I was at a LGS and saw 2 USA mini 30 mags 10 rd SS for $30.

I bought two 20 round mags form MIDWAY USA on 12/20.


Still have not shipped on back order.


I did get my two 15 round 9mm mags for my Ruger P89 though, but now you can't get them either.

CDNN had some Mecgar 17 round P series yesterday.

I bought 2 20 round factory mags just this week for $40 a piece. It was at a local shop. They had maybe 7-8 still in stock.
Another local store has about 12-15 of em in stock but asking $60.
