Mini 14 mag carriers

I've used these for the couple of times I've run my Mini in a training class.

Work well with either the 20 or 30 rounders. Big plus is they work with my AR mags also so do double duty.

dont laugh but how do 10 round mags fit in those?

Haven't made one yet, but I have been considering using some 20 round AK pouches and adding a shoulder strap. I have a couple of the Romanian 40 round pouches with shoulder straps (too long for the 20 rounders - they get lost in all that canvas) that work great with 30 round AK mags. Love the ability to grab a rifle and a shoulder bag with my ammo supply for mobility, way quicker to grab and go than with a vest. And if I need to ditch it for some reason, way quicker to get it off and under cover and go back to the 'civilian look'.

They now come with a belt as well (which was a prior weakness mentioned in that review). I follow bwraven's method of using Magpuls on 20rders inside. Easy to get at.

I run HSGI Tacos, with Magpuls on my 20rnd mags. My 30 rnd mags go in a six mag carrier that can be worn like a chest rig or slung over my shouldet like a bag.

i carry five - 20 rounders in an IFAK pouch.

for the light/low key portion of my battle rattle I use a Chicom-style chest rig, unfortunately they were designed for 30rd AK mags so even 30rd Mini Mags with magpulls were a bit short so i use PMI/Triple K 40rders. I thinks 20rd mags with slightly longer pulls would work just fine in the 4 pouches of my IIFS Tactical Load Bearing Vest (enhanced) and the same could be said if you use the standard ALICE pouches. But, be sure to cut out the dividing ribbons if using 20's because they can hang up on them.

I know, I prefer the caveman equipment. It may not be as modular or slick, but its affordable and all built like tanks. Not to mention... I prefer to use Surplus but I hate Digital Camo and only recently started accepting MOLLE. Haha

NICE! I like it. A bit more versatile than my 4x mags + oil bottle + AKM setup.

They're too deep for a single 10 rounder.

Molle pouches made for a single M14 mag usually fit two 20 round mini mags.

Hello all,

A question, how or what are you doing to keep the mags from rattling around or making noise when using a shoulder bag type pouch? I have mine wrapped separately in apiece of old t-shirt inside the bag. Not real fast to get at but they don't rattle or make noise.
Also have a web belt w/ mag pouches attached.

go old school , lc1 harness m16 4 mag pouch alice clips to pistol belt , holds 20 rounders great.
