So I've used the PV on a couple of different rifles, it fits me well and the price isn't unreasonable. But from what I can tell, they eliminate the mag well reinforcement and screws for the Mini, which seems like just asking for trouble. Anyone use one of these, and if so, what were your results and impressions? Any other info would also be much appreciated, thanks.
Some mfrs of synthetic and laminated stocks omit the metal stock reinforcement because both materials are stronger than plain hardwood. This ought not be a major concern, IMHO. The metal stock reinforcement on wooden GI M-14 stocks is omitted on the GI Fiberglass M-14 stock. Presumably the Mil tested the fiberglass stock well, and decided the metal stock reinforcement was not needed.

From what I can see, the stock pictured above is not for a Mini.
