In case anyone wonders how well it fits, the Burris scope seems quite nice. It's sitting on Ruger #5/Medium 30mm rings (and yes, Ruger will still swap your new 1" rings for 30mm rings). The rear lens will interfere with the rear sight which limits positions a small amount. I haven't tried for a 'best' position yet.

I just bought the same model.
Are the rings #5 or medium, I ask because #4 is a medium and #5 is the high.
I am going to order the 30mm rings as well for my Vortex.

The original 1" rings included with the rifle were '5' (which I assumed was Medium). Ruger sent me '5K30HM' which was the same stainless ring in 30mm with a height of 1.156" per the package. I would guess that if you wanted to remove the rear sight you could use size '4', and you can see the rear lens would conflict with the rings in some positions. The RT6 can slide back about an inch as it sits. The size '5' rings are a slight compromise but I thought I would alter the plastic stock with an adjustable cheekpiece if needed.
