Mmmmm.....

Could have worded that better, I want to raise the top of the stock to get a better check weld with a scope, I am thinking about cutting out a section of stock and replacing it with a raised cheek piece. Anybody ever seen this or have any advice? I do not care that much about looks. Just want it to fit.

Oh ya I just sent my 2 trigger groups to Mike K. and am getting the gas port bushing kits and recoil buffers for both as well as the bedding video,,,,,,,,,,,

I want to tree rat hunt with some of those reduced loads,,,,,,have found some blue dot but it is an hour or so away,,,,,I will get there sooner or later.

Hopefully bedding will get me down to under 1 inch at 50 yards,,,,tree rats beware!

Blackhawk has two, cheek pads. One holds ammo on the side, the other one has adjustable height.

HawkTex Tactical Adjustable Cheek Pad
Item # B551

The BTCP is made of our Hawtex non-slip material for absolute positive cheek weld. It has a unique height adjustable inserts (provided) which are numerous layers of closed cell you stack to the exact height that you require. It stays firmly in place on your buttstock with 3 adjustable straps and a fully adjustable "end retaining strap" to stop forward slip.

BHI (the ones cajungeo suggested) is one of the better ones out there if you want to raise the comb for your stock, even temporarily. I believe you can custom fit the foam to achieve the proper cheek weld for your particular rifle and yourself. And you can always go the route of trap and skeet shooters, who have a cut comb that is adjustable-you see them on some Dragunov style stocks as well.
