Guys I had my mini worked on by mike in oregon of NW shooters ([email protected]). Got the trigger job and fire lapping bullets, bedding video and replacement gas bushing. This did a great deal to improve the mini's accuracy at 100 yards.

I couldn't resist the deal i got from Mac's Iron restorations for my mini and 1911's ( http://www.shootiniron.com/). mini-looks great and the best thing is the trigger dropped from the 4lbs to a feel like a volquartsen 10/22 trigger. man what a difference and from what I hear the longer I use the better it will get. Worth a look!

the bushing reduce recoil significantly. I can shoot 80 rounds (wolf) and no discomfort. I started with the medium bushing then finally went to the smallest. The difference between the medium and the small was not that significant.

I shoot nithing but wolf or barnual (sp) for cost reasons. I find that barnaul is much more reliable and accurate.

Accuracy wih a 69.00 leaper scope when I can keep my form relazed is easily 2 and sub 2 moa 100 yards. when i maintain discipline I can keep all shots sub 2 moa. The mini is moutned on a butler creek non folder :) rested on sand bags in seated position.

Realized that I don't take one or two shoots then rest forever and then another couple of shoots.

shoot rather rapidly compared to that. I will take a shot and rest long enough to fix sights on target go through one breath cycle and take the next shot.

I am sure that if I really took my time I could get the shot group tighter but I like to sling lead.

The rifle, at this point, is more accurate than I am.

I couldn't be happier.

I haven't had any of the problems others have seem to eluded to. I have four thermold 30 to 45 round mags and use them weekly.

Sounds like you got a winner there. Barnaul Silver Bear Match and Uly hp's are good for accuracy and not expensive.
That Mac's polishing dropped the already tuned trigger pull?
For a "real" muzzlebrake you might try a Smith brake. It has a exit hole just slightly bigger than the bullet, so gases go up.
