I am thinking of upgrading my M1A's standard rear sight. Which of the two NM peep sight sizes is better? What are the two different sizes better for? I have very good eyesight if it matters.

Personally, I upgraded my "loaded" to the NM sights & went with the smaller of the 2. It is the "standard" aperature for Match guns.

If your eyesight is good, it probably doesn't make much difference which size you use, but when the eyes start going.....the smaller one usually works better. Essentially it creates the same effect as squinting to see something a little better if you're not wearing your glasses.
