Does anyone know. Are all M-14 USGI rewelds illegal or just the MKS receivers?

:usa: From what I read, the authority has the view, once a fully auto, always a full auto even though all the funstuff has been removed. I don't believe it was who re-welded them, it was that two components of past full auto's were re-assembled.

I saw a M-14 reweld for sale at a gun show one time. It was legally registered on as a machine gun and had the selector switch. The rifle was obviously a reweld! Thx-Ace
