Can anyone tell me how to determine what are the best M14 magazines 20 rounders. :ar15:

I have had only surplus gov't M14 mags,because I got them with my first M1A long ago,before the gov't decided not to trust us citizens with hi-cap. mags.In my experience,I never had any malfunction with the standard 20 rnd. gov't mags. If you bought any other type or manufacturer,and had a feed problem,then you might try a mag. re-build kit from e-gunparts (Numrich Arms). Just my 2 cents worth.:2guns: - BILL

The chinese made some perfect knock-offs of USGI 20rd magazines. USGI have a 3 letter contractor identifier on their long edge, Chinese do not. Both have spot welded mag catches.
USGI or Chinese, they are perfect. These are universally parkerized, although you may find refinished ones that are painted or otherwise coated.

All others (domestic aftermarket) are crap. Yes, some work, but many do not. They are identified, in most part, by their black glossy paint and stamped, not welded, mag catches.
