I was at the range the other day and found that I could not shoot the single six I had with me nearly as well as the 22/45. I understand that the single six bore is sized more for 22M than for 22LR. Does this typically affect the 22LR accuracy or do I still have to accept blame?

I also had a Single Six that wouldn't shoot groups; it shot patterns. I thought it was me until my Ruger 22 auto proved me wrong. I used it as a trade-in on a .41 Blackhawk. Now, that's one accurate revolver.

I have a single six with both cylinders and cannot shoot tight groups like my other 22s as well. I think it is the long hammer fall that slams into the frame. It kinda jars your grip when you shoot. I notice that if I hold the gun tight in my hand I can shoot tighter groups. :2guns:
