Thanks for stopping in. I am looking for the choate mini 14 flash hider that looks like the one on a M14. I guess choate does not make these anymore as they are not on there web site or in brownells. Do you guys know any one who may have some of these in stock? Thank you for any help you can provide.

I have looked everywhere for one of these. Delta Force used to sell them, but when I ordered it they didn't send it (their service is terrible). Finally I called and they said they don't have any left. I even e-mailed choate and they did say they stopped making them and did not know of anyone who would have them in stock. This is the only internet site I could find that sells them.

$75 bucks is pretty high, but that is what I ended up paying for the not quite as good looking m-14 flash hider with bayonet lug from gunaccesories.com.

The Choate website lists a "recoil compensator" for the Mini for $44.95. This has the M14 style front sight.

I have the origanal M-14 look alike flash suppressor from Choate. I bought it from Bushmaster several years ago for around $40+ shipping. It makes the Mini seem a lot louder & there is some back blast but not real bad. Being the glutton for punishment that I am I decided that chopping the barrel to 14.5" & permanantly installing the flash suppressor will really give me a face full each time I pop one off. We'll see what happens I'm still working on it as time permits.
