Does anyone on the forum have any experience with the KonusPro 1-4x28mm M30 tactical scope? It seems like the perfect optic for the Mini 14. It has illuminated crosshairs with an illuminated dot in the center. It looks like it could double as both a scope and a red dot(dot is blue-not red). Since a red dot is probably a better choice for urban use and a scope would be better for plus 100 yard shots, a combo like the KonusPro could save some money and time that it takes to change optics!

I was looking at that for my AR. It was between that, the Weaver V3 1-3 and the Primary arms 1-4. These are the best prices I have found on the three...

I just bought one of the older models that midway had on sale a couple of months ago. The optics are clear and no distortion on 1 power. I think the optics are better than the millet but the blue center dot is hard to see. I like the millet reticle better than the Konus. I have heard that the new Konus M-30's have a better reticle (switch between blue and red). The Konus is also lighter and shorter than the millet.

I looked through a M30 1.5-6 and thought it was a very nice . It made the short list but I wound up taken a different scope home with me . My advise is If you can and have the time , go out to the gun show or local sporting goods super center , and peer through as many scopes that fit your criteria , side by side , as you can . Just picking one out of a catalog or on-line , I was always disappointed .
