I purchased a Ruger Mini 14 Ranch Rifle back in 1993 that has a "gray/black shadow" laminated stock. The rifle is stainless steel. I was told that only a small quantity of these were ever produced (around 600). My question is: Does anyone know anything about these rifles? I haven't been able to find any information about them. In the upper right corner is a search button- type in laminated stock to get results.
I do beleive thay were limited production. You can also call Ruger 603-863-3300 with serial# to get info re: date of manufacture etc.

My freind and I both bought one about 3 years ago. I sold the stock to mike in oregon a while ago and now regret it
I've hear a rumor that they are still being sold at the Turner's Outdoorsman chain in Southern California.
