I got the last two at Cabelas. Ranch 5817 all weather. No idea when i will be able to shoot can not find any 223/5.56 but I have my Mini. Before Tax I paid $850 is this a good price ?

Is it the newest model with the picatinny rail on the receiver?

You have one of the more accurate new ones. All WEATHER, is a good idea. Those thoughts in mind, you didn't get beat-up too bad. All gun prices , even at Gun Shows are at a manic level. So, if u had to have one.; at least you didn't have to wait.

They have been going for $1500 to $1790 ea. on gunbroker.com. You won the lottery.

Ruger hasn't updated their website yet, but I got this in an email from them...

"All Ruger® Mini-14® rifles now include a receiver drilled and tapped for mounting the included Picatinny rail"

That is a great buy! I have not seen one for less than $1000 if they have.

Congratulations - definitely a good buy! The all-weather models have always been a bit more expensive than the blued.

Would you please post a photo with the new included rail? I just found out that Ruger is including these - and two magazines - with all new Minis.

Glad you found some. I bought over the internet only to get an email two days later they were out of stock. Tried to argue that they were in stock when I bought but Kygunco never replied to my emails.

Just looked at gunbroker; and there are some gouging & maniacal "opportunists" posting lunatic starting prices. And I didn't even view anything other than Ruger stuff.
