Will +P 9mm loads be unsafe to shoot in the Ruger SR9c? If not, which guns are they safe to shoot in? I couldn't find anything in the specs.

Hey Hellgate, the general concensus when it comes to +P ammo is to only use it in modern guns with steel frames (and not alloy frames).
That said, most people opt. to shoot regular pressure ammo. at the range
and carry the +P stuff for self-defense.
Even the manufacturers of firearms tend to stay away from recommending
hotter ammo from a liability standpoint.
You might want to fire a round or 2 to see how it feeds but know that shooting alot of the stuff is hard on the pistol.

Thanks, Lurp. The SR9c has a polymer lower. I'm used to steel revolvers. I just don't know how strong the "plastic guns" are.

Yes it is safe shoot all you want.I think it is on page 12 or 13 in the owners manual on their website
