Im not really into it - I would like something that just replace the hand guard is that it would be easier to mount the scope but looks like its part of the mini and not overwhelm the mini

Ah, okay. Look up "Amega Ranges Scout Rail" and "Ultimak Scout Rail" in relation to the Mini.

I believe those fit what you are looking for

I prefered the Aim Tech as I can use the iron sightsifneeded/wanted. Easy to install and it looks good too.

If you like forward-mounted optics, there is another option that will still allow you to use your irons -- the Ranch Products Scout Mount. It's been around forever, and is half the price of the handguard-replacement rails.




I'm using a handgun scope, as the Ranch Products mount requires a long (longer than your typical "Scout" scope) eye relief.

Although, if you need to remove your handguard for cleaning (as I typically do...), you will have to modify it a bit...
