I'm thinking about a life membership, but I need to pay off all the bills from the "dotting I's and crossing T's" in my armory.

I joined last year and am glad I did. This year the convention is in nearby Houston and am planning on going. It will probably be record attendance.

My wife finally told me to join! So I joined 1/20 - 2 year plan(I was told not to subscribe to anymore magazines or clubs 2 years ago) It's nice to have her approval!!
However, I haven't gotten anything from the NRA yet?

Don't worry, you will! They may be a little backed up with the recent rush of new members but once the crap starts showing up in your mail box it never ends. I like the NRA and always keep up my membership but, it seems like they spend an awful lot of money on mailing out nonsense trying to get you to renew your membership or donate money for one thing or another. It gets a little annoying sometimes.
