The only way I see to stop gun control is the same way MLK stopped descrimanation.1 boycot one state at a time california first and demand that all bussnies do the same or boy cot them.Start with the gun makers tell them If they sell any guns in that state intill after the boy cot they will be boycoted and that includes the sale of any gun to law enforcement agencys. If they comply we will tell everyone in the other states to buy there products while the boycots on. then move to other business car dealers .ect... 2 demand that politicans and courts recognise that the 2 nd ammendment is applaciable to all citezens and remove all gun laws.3 preform public demonstrations.have all gun owners where toy guns and try to get arrested to sue them into submision.Have people go armed but unloaded to public demonstrations in a effort to clog the courts.4 demand that all law enforcement officers recogenise the 2nd amendment and refuse to arrest citezens just because they are armed.and remind there superiors that they took an oath to uphold and defend the constitution. Doing all this is as I see it the only way to defeat the liberal antigun monster that threatens the free world as we know it.
What we need to start this is a leader and groups that will risk there freedom to accomplish this .

well i don't know if that will work anymore they are different all together.
i think when we find out that a company supports gun control that a petion needs to be started and sent to every hunting,gun,and firearms related site that we know.
for the politions we all need to get out and vote bill clinton said the gun owners voice was heard when we voted bush into office.
there are enough gun owners in this country if we all voted we could elect anyone that we chose.
so why isn't this done i think that alot of people are 1.to lazy to go and vote 2.don't think that there vote will count 3.don't realize how bad things are now and how bad they can get if we don't do anything.i will start with posting on the sites that i go to when i find a company that is antigun.

good reply cris ce Also FYI about antigun COs progressive is a verry liberal co the owner is a pot smoker and just gave 8 million dollars to the ACLU .The ACLU is a extream liberal group NOT a constittutional group as they claim they don't attemped to defend any group that does'nt fathure there liberal agenda.
As to why most gunowners don't vote is I belive because they belive most politicians are rich crooks who only want to help them selves and for the most part there right BUT they still fear mass demonstrations and if challenged by a large group they fold easly.Most gun owners feel even if they vote in a progun person he'll just sell them out down the road.
I belive we are in agreement about the base of how gunowners can take the country back and that is to unite under a common symbol of leadership.Sadily that's not the NRA. THey have become as corupt and and self obsorbed as the politicians we created the NRA to fight.

1) People continue to only think of our system as having two parties. The difference between a democrat and a republican is about as pronounced as that between a mule and a burro. There are differences, but the similarities vastly out weight them. Until you can actually run as an independant, Libertarian, or Green and win, your government will continue to screw you over and you won't even notice most of the time. 4) I've defended the ACLU on this forum before and will continue to do so. I belong to the GOA for the 2nd amendment. I belong to the ACLU for the right to privacy and to lead my life as I see fit without having a government concerned with my morals, as long as I am not harming others.

5) Lastly, boycotts help, but I'd like to see some "buycotts" as well. If anyone knows of a list of gun-friendly companies I'd like to see a link to that.

I try to read all the publications concerning gun rights and from what I have read about the NRA I believe that they are concerned with fund raising more than gun rights .I believe they still care about the issue but There are to many wealthy in places of power who use the NRA as a cash cow .The Neal Knox report in the shot gun news tells how the heads of the N.R.A. have decided to discount the members votes and name the new building them selves.Nameing a building may seam small but the issue isn't naming a building it's the big boys throwing away the votes of the members.It is becoming it's own government of the elitist rich who could;nt give a flip about the member who makes less than 50 g's a year.Agian this is only my opion but I know of some 300 dollar a plate fund raising dinners in ST Louis Missouri. Now I ask you how many members can afford a 300 dollar a plate dinner? As I see it they don't really harm members but they don't lobby to reverse gun control either.

I'm sorry I forgot to respond to the question about the ACLU.
I belive in the constitution as much as anyone .I belive it was written on 2 princapals 1st is Live and let live and the 2nd is do unto others as you would have them do unto you .I beleive that's why it's lasted so long.I do not belive the ACLU is a defender of the constitution. They are the 1st to the line on liberal isues such as the death penalty,sex,drugs, ect.. and that's not to say they are wrong on all those isues,I beleive they are wrong on some but that's only my opion.However when it comes to conservative issues they are a no show with statements like ( It is our opnion at this time that the 2nd amendment does not grant any right to any citezen with the exeption of those in the national guard.)and fathers rights ,revurse decrimanation,Gay s who attacked little kids,or the pro life free speach issue.Those are only a few and you may not agree with any of them but that does'nt mean that they are'nt constitutionaly protected.
By refuseing to adress these issues the ACLU has llabled them selves a left wing liberal group.I am not trying to offend you I am simply telling you what I know and what I beleive and If you choose to suport them then thats your right and if I don;t like it Too bad because we live in a country where people who dissagree about most things can still get along .If you still suport them mabie I'll change your mind in a year or so .OR mabie you will change mine:eek: :D 2 gun tree hugger?? NAAA:cool:

Well, here's my two cents worth!

I think that both parties see this issue as being complex in different ways but the truth as I see it, is that it is simple as black and white!

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.

The NRA is certainly the most visible of the groups who represent the second amendment and I agree that they do not speak for all of us! But they are no different than congress or the senate! They too can be swayed by there constituents views set by pen to paper!

We must be strong and stand together and we cannot compromise! No so called compromise is a compromise! It is a loss! It is never wise to abrogate your rights to assuage an enemy!

We won the right of freedom some two hundred plus years ago and now we are handing them back of our own free will! where are the 80,000,000 gun owners in this country?

That is where we win or lose this war! It is with them and their apathy!
