:rapid: I enjoy many different fasits of shooting, but have only recently moved into high power, specifically the M-1-A. Mine's got a fibreglass stock, with an M-14 buttplate. I just installed a Harris bipod on it. It's a shooter. I call it the bullet hose cause I can go through bullets so quickly with it. It's a standard, loaded with the NM steel barrel. It shoots surprisingly well too. Feel free to say hi, I don't know much yet, but I'm a sponge when it comes to my interests. JB

That's no surprise. The M1A, especially that package you have should shoot well (more surprising if it didn't)
The bad news is you've just spoiled yourself! I have many rifles but the M1A is still my favorite, anything you buy next just won't live up.;)
Welcome!

Hey carry-45!
There is no such thing as a dumb question. Knowledge is everything. You can see a good picture of an ARMS 18 mount on the Fulton Armory website. The ARMS-18 mount is currently used by the United States Military. I will post a picture pretty soon of my M1a with arms-18 mount and mini-14 (big brother -little brother)

Welcome to the forum,Barbarian. I agree wholeheartedly with you ! I have several mini-14 Rugers,M1 Garands, various bolt actions, including some 1903 and A3 Springfields, but the fun or serious weapon of choice is "The 14". Fun to shoot, accurate at longer ranges, and extremely dependable. RIGHT ON !!:2guns: BILL
