Hey everyone,

Could you guys do some measuring for me if you have a GB-series or AC556K rifle? What I need to know is the height of the sight from the top of the barrel (minus any protective wings on it) on these rifles. I want to compare it so that I can figure out the proper sight height from anywhere on the barrel. I think I can figure it out if I have three points (gas block, mid-barrel, and standard Mini sight) to work with.

Here's an idea, It might be stupid but tell me what you think. Tape a piece of fishing line to the very top of the front sight, then run the line back through the peep sight. This should show you how high the sight needs to be on the whole length of the rifle. I think. What do you guys think.
