New member from SW Michigan. I've been lurking for a while, but today I actually found an opportunity to add something to a thread so I thought I should introduce myself.
I pried a Mini-14 out of the returns room at a Wal-Mart back in January. They had had it for close to a year, said it was "broken" and they were "waiting on authorization" to send it back. Turned out the only problem was a jammed magazine. We pried it out and it was fine.
Not my first firearm, but my first semi-auto rifle, and I've learned a lot about it here. Thanks to all of you for the info.
