I just wanted to introduce myself and say hello. I have been around firearms all my life. Started hunting with my Father when I was 3 yrs. old. Got my first shotgun when I was 8. an Ithaca 410 single shot. Ended the lives of many a squirrel with that gun and ate everyone of em. I do not do much hunting these days because of failing eyesight due to diabetes but I still enjoy shooting and do as much of it as I can. I purchased a Ruger Mini-30 back in November and have been enjoying it tremendously. I ran across this forum doing research on the Mini and found a lot of good information here.
