So i have a gp100 that i bought a few years ago. I got it out to take it to the gun show to find a holster for it. When i got it out i noticed that the cylinder was free turning in both directions.

I took the gun apart and i feel that the lip on the cylinder pawl is wore. Can i order parts though ruger?

You might try Numrich's, which I think is now e-gunparts or some such thing.

It might also need some fitting. If you're not comfortable doing that I would suggest returning it to ruger or finding a local smith.

nwn, it sound like you also have a problem with the cylinder bolt not locking up. Bring it to a gunsmith.

Rather than bring it to a gunsmith, I'd send it back to Ruger.
