As was reported in another thread, at Gunparts Corp, part no. 215680a may be a PMI mag.
I said "may be" because I called twice to ask about the mag.
Two calls, two different people.
When I asked who the manufacturer was, I was told "Ruger", both times.

Now, I knew the mag wasn't made by Ruger.
On calling them a couple of years ago, and asking the same question, I was told that they couldn't say, as they use several different ones.
(Just prior to this conversation, the web site had said "Made by PMI".)

Well, I was kind of holding my breath, but the mag that showed up was a PMI. (Not a Ruger!!??) :(

$30 plus about 8 bucks shipping.

mini14jac,

Glad you got a PMI!
I had a similar experience with them, called and asked if mags were really PMI. Two different people- two different answers, but neither said they could guarantee PMI. I did not order.

Someone here posted that you have to specify. Precision Mag Industries magazines when you order. There was another post awhile back that said go to Numrich's Gun Parts forum and ask for the part# for P.M.I.'s aparently they have a part# specific to them. I have left a question on their forum on FAL. parts and it was answered the next day.;)

This is the part no. I ordered from the web page: 215680a, and
I received a PMI mag.

I tried to specify that I only wanted a PMI mag, but both operators told me that part number was manufactured by Ruger.

I suppose you could send a letter with a M.O. and request PMI.That may work better.

You pays your money, and you takes your chances.
