I own a 181 series Mini, it was given to me from my dad who bought it in 1979, and it was made in 1978. Its stood up to 23 years of .223, tons of me jarring it around in my jeep, and it still shoots like a dream. The only mods I've made to it was adding an aftermarket flash-hider w/bayonet lug, and installing a Millet Rear sight. You can find a few pics of it at:
