thank you for repling to my mini 14 that accuracy systems in col. is doing as we write. i was told to look for your responce and another. however being laim about this site i could not figure out how in the hell to get the responce off this darn site. every night that i start figuring out it is late i am up early an to work it is already7-8 and i have not been home to even eat yet. i saw that you are staining a stock with tru-oil. i also just several days ago bought 2 bottles 3-oz from my local store. i am waiting to get my claro(?) walnut stock back frpm a stock maker that i sent a primo stock blank to 2 week ago i told him i needed it back to finish it so i could send it to accuracy, he had told me a week.so i paid to airborne it to him at extra cost. i gave him a design i wanted i hope it comes out well. (sorry for the run on sentences). i had been sent a set off instructions from a real nice fellow in co. i had meet him on the web he makes these stock dup machines.he has 9 steps and about 7 pages of instructions, but you have to wait a day or so betweeneach stage. there is also a one week period between drying. he uses part varnish, part tung oil, varnish reducer. no i was wrong it is 100% pure mineral spirits, varnish, varnish reducer, and your favorite boiled linseed oil. that stuff even takes longer to dry but it is much dryer in colorado the in the southern part of the country. if you can tell a computer idiot how to figure out how to read the perfectunion e-mails i would be very gratefull my regular email is [email protected]. my handle on the union site is knifeblade. bushwack also wrote me but i can see who wrote, however i can not get to the mails. thank you for yor help in advance it sounds like you know what your talking about by the posted message that i can read on the site i will sign off now i know its probably 11 or so back there.whaaat does post a poll mean ? i forgot to ask what types of wood are you finishing?

Hey knifeblade. I'm not shure who you were directing this thread to, but if you were talking to me I will try to answer your questions.
1. You can't move your post to another forum, but you can use the edit/delete button at the bottom of your post. (I moved it for you to the mini-14 forum)

2. You can't get into the e-mails if the user has it turned off (for security reasons). Most turn on their private message function. Click on User CP, click on private message, fill out the form, then submit. No one but the receiver can read your private message.

3. Post a poll is if someone wanted to post a poll for members to vote on. For example "Do you like Wolf ammo? Yes, No"

4. The stocks I am finishing are Fajun, laminate. One is cinnamon, the other midnite. I believe they are birch, and epoxy laminates.

There is also a search button upper right, where you can enter key words or a members name. All related posts will come up.

We would like to see a picture of your mini-14 when you get it back from A. S., and the stock done. You can post pictures in the gallery.
