All, since I am new to the Mini's I thought I would take a chance at asking a potentially dumb question. Here goes.

With the craziness in pricing of all things gun related I would like to get a general idea as to what a reasonable price "today" on Ruger factory 10, 20, 30 round mags. I understand that I wont get Pre Dec 14th prices but I also don't want to get raked over the coals. What are the averages I should be paying today for the three sizes of mags. Thanks.

If you can find any factory Mini 14 mags, any price under $50 for 20s or 30s its probably worth it if you don't have any. 10 rounders should not cost anymore than pre-gun gun craze.

My 2 cents is wait for this whole panic buy BS to blow over and shopruger.com will have them back in stock for their usual price. They are probably cranking them out full speed ahead too its just a waiting game. Check their web site multiple times a day and if you see them in stock jump on it.

They are going for crazy prices on ebay. $125 is probably the average. Gunbroker isn't much better, but you can find the factory 30's there for $85 or so.

After looking on ebay and seeing what prices they were bring I posted up and sold 2 30 rd USA mags on ebay before the rest of my auctions ended for over $90 each...
They pulled the Factory Ruger 20 rounders I had listed later on there before the auction ended but in the first 10 hrs of the auction being up there the bids were over $70 for those.... I saw them up as high as $100 for a new factory 20 rd mag

Got lucky about a month ago looking through a bin of used mags at the local gun store and found a Ruger factory 30 round mag. I held it up and asked the guy how much and he said $10. Sold!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just lucky!!!

Generation 2 Tapco 30 rounders are out there for under $20. They have been getting good reviews. Much Beefer than Gen 1 according to the internets.

I saw three steel 30 round SKS mags at a local shop for $25 each. I know those are obscure, but it surprised me. Today I think you have to get lucky to find anything at a reasonable price.

Kinda obvious in hindsight. Maybe I should delete his post?

Ruger is taking backorders at 5 mags per order for any one model. I ordered 5 Mini-14 20 rounders at $39.95 and will wait.

I bought the only 20rd mag I could find locally for $32 two weeks ago. Check your smaller local shops, the big boys are just gouging for anything they can right now.

This works for me! They would be shipped to my in laws home in another state anyways so waiting is not a problem. Thanks for the info.
