Yes the last pic is a Model 39. I have a 1942 made 91/30 and its finish is like new but rough machined as were all wartime M-Ns. The Finn is a VKT built on a Tula reciever and the 91/30 is also a Tula made rifle. Either one is a good shooter and both are fun to fire. The Finn has an edge over the M-N but not by enough to worry about. I highly recommend Mosin Nagants to any one wanting a cheap to shoot but fun Gun and at under 100.00 you can get a good example of WW2 weapons. The Model 44 carbine is also less than 100.00 for the truely Adventurous.

Yea the M-44 are real BOOMERS. I was shooting next to a guy with a full size M-N and a M44. I was shooting my No4 Mk2 .303 BTW. And when the M44 went off the blast was tremendus. So was the fire ball when the sun statrted going down.
