I have been looking at maybe buying a cheaper 20 Gauge O/U.I have handled and looked at the EAA Bakial Russian shotgun"the over and under one"not the one based on the AK action"Anyone have one and does this gun holdup???Fit and finish seem to be pretty good for a gun in this price range IMO.Aldo

Aldo I was able to shoot the EAA over under rifle/shotgun combo in 12 gauge 223. While I was impressed with the concept and price the reality was that opening and closing the gun was cumbersome, the fit on this one wasn't anything to scream about. I didn't hit anything with the rifle worth mentioning but the shotgun shot true and fine. Overall I would pass or wait for a better quality combo gun. The shotgun seemed like the better part of this deal.

If you are looking for a lower priced O/U I had good luck with a Stoeger. Mine was a Condor in 12ga. I beat the @#$% out of it one dove season and I never had a problem with it. I was like you. I wanted to play with a low cost O/U to see if I like them. After that season, I traded up for a nicer Italian. There are times I wish I still had the Stoeger.
