I'm interested in Duracoating a set of Magpul MOE furniture and was wondering if the Duracoat comes in an aerosol can or will I need an airbrush? Is there anything special I need to know ahead of time? The furniture will be brand new.

Also, I've seen some AR's that said they were Cerakoted. Most were Flat Dark Earth or Coyote Tan, either of which I thought looked pretty nice. Is Cerakoting something a person can do at home?

Duracoat sells an aerosol type dispenser with kits. The finish is multi-part that has to be mixed. Can use an air brush also.

If you are wanting one solid color, Duracoat also makes a "Shake and Bake" spray can kit. It's real easy to use. Comes with one can of degreaser, and one spray can of Duracoat. After painting you simply cure the parts in an oven. The curing temperature is safe enough for plastics, wood, and polymer. Brownells sell it.
