After noting the improvements the muzzle brake has on accuracy and reading about improvements barrel stabalizers have on accuracy-I was wondering if using lead tape on the barrel might add mass and improve barrel harmonics. I used to use lead tape on the back of golf clubs to add weight. Any thoughts on this feeble idea-haven"t heard about anybody trying it ,must be a reason.

Not too bad an Idea, as bench rest shooters sometimes use an adjustable weight to dial in the harmonics to match their ammo. Finding the sweet spot is the trick. I have seen one set up using a small Bow stabalizer, clamped to the underside barrel. It looked kinda different but after much trial, and error the shooter found the sweet spot, and accuracy improved.

The down side of using the lead stuck on with adhesive is the mini's barrel gets hot real fast, and would let go on ya. The BW double muzzle brake only costs less than 20 bucks, installs in less than 5 min. You just set it, and forget it. Works for me. :D

Or two stiffener rods (one on either side). I'd suggest not cranking the clamps too tightly, as it may pinch the barrel. Maybe batting the inside of the shroud with steel wool under the stiffening rods would provide a nice even pressure along the barrel, and have the added benefit of dramatically increasing the surface area of the barrel which would help keep the barrel cooler.
