I was looking at the Trijicon ACOG (TA01NSN 4X32) intended for special forces units and noticed that the top of the unit has a peep rear sight and a simple post front sight.

Are there any scope rings that have this kind of sighting feature that anyone knows of? Is there any kind of bolt-on sighting system that fits on the scope tube for that matter?

If they are out there (and durable enough), they might make a nice addition to my rifle and add some versatility.

I saw some about 6 months ago (can't remember where), the down side is the short sight to sight distance. I found this one which uses a HUd sight (you can use with both eyes open), and a flip up peep, that dosen't interfere with The HUD. You have to use a Weaver mount. For a regular rifle I think either Milet or Tasco,had some rings with a sight system set up on top,as well as see thru rings.
A.R.M.S. has a ring set with small pictinnay/weaver rail on top
