Hey stoney, when the brass is ejected, it hits the op-rod. Look at the op-rod, and I bet ya, there will be brass marks on the upper part just fwd of the op-rod handle. As a reloader I couldn't put up with that, so I installed a way smaller gas bushing (Available from Mike Knifong @ NW Shooter Support). The kit has 3 sizes so you can adjust the recoil to suit your situation. My mini hurrled brass up to 60 ft., and much of the brass was unusable even if I found it. Now it plops the brass about 10 ft.
