Has anyone ever seen tool to remove and replace a DW barrel? I am not talking about the plastic one that comes with it. I always thought it would be nice to have one I could put a tourque wrench on to assure I had the same tourque after each cleaning.

I have been away from our sport for much too long now and have reloacated many times. I have lost all my contacts in regaurds to gunsmithing. I've spoken to a couple local shops, no one has any leads on anyone who will work on my DW. I am in No. Cal. Can anyone help me out?

I have never seen a DW tool set up for a torque wrench. The correct and cpnsistant gap is the much more important part. Check the gap before and AFTER installing the bbl. A good snug fit on the bbl should be all you need.

Dan wesson firearms are currently being made in Norwich, NY and the quality is as good as it used to be. Try www.danwessonfirearms.com for more info.
