I shopped around and picked up a Contender (1974 vintage), it came with 2 barrels, a laminated shoulder stock, a target rear sight, a spare front sight, an extra wood forend (for 14"era), and a pachmyer grip.
The barrels are 10" octagons in .357mag, and 44mag-hot shot with "choke". If I were to keep one and sell the other....which stays and which goes?
The stock is going, and probably one barrel. But which one?

Not sure what your purpose will be but the .357 is the one I'd choose because you could use .38 specials in it too and it would be more manageable and less kick than the .44 mag. I don't see much use for the 44 shot other than snake shooting and my .22 handles that.
